A public hearing is scheduled to consider the recommendations from the Miami Beach Association (MBA) Wastewater Facilities Plan at 7:00 PM on June 25, 2014 at the Middletown High School in the Library/Media Center.

This report presents an evaluation of the existing wastewater disposal system conditions, and makes recommendations for a future long term solution to the wastewater disposal needs of the Miami Beach Association.  The associated opinion of cost for the recommended plan will also be discussed.

The purpose of the public hearing is to provide the public with an opportunity to review and comment on the recommendations of the Wastewater Facilities Plan, and complies with the Connecticut DEEP Regulation Section 22a-482-3a of the Clean Water Fund Program.

The Association’s consultant, Fuss & O'Neill, Inc., will be present to solicit questions and consider comments regarding the recommended plan with the assistance of the MBA WPCA.  At the conclusion of the meeting, Miami Beach Association Members will vote on the recommended plan.

A copy of the entire planning report is available for public review at the office of Fuss & O’Neill (146 Hartford Road; Manchester, CT 06040; 860-646-2469) between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM Monday thru Friday.
